Step cooking
- We take 5 fresh chicken eggs, wash them and leave at room temperature, if they were previously stored in the refrigerator. Eggs must be washed so that they do not cook in excess dirt. It is best to wash the eggs with a special brush, because the eggshell is porous and passes everything inside. Do not forget that the egg must be at room temperature. In such a simple way, it will not crack and will be easy to clean.
- We turn on the gas or electric stove, put a pan on it, pour half the water and bring to a boil over the biggest fire.
- When the water begins to boil, pour a little salt into it. Do not lay eggs in cold water, even if you do not have time for this, because no one can guarantee perfect cooking. Wait until the water boils or at least starts to boil. As soon as the water boils, we reduce the fire to a minimum and with the help of a kitchen spoon we put all the eggs one at a time in the pan. We try to lay the eggs very carefully so that their bottom does not crack. If you put an egg not with a kitchen spoon, but with your hands, then it will crack and deteriorate.
- Raise the fire to medium, let the eggs boil and cook them for 5:30 minutes, no more and no less. To do this, you better use a kitchen timer, which allows you to perfectly accurately track the cooking time of eggs. As soon as the eggs are cooked - quickly place them under cold water for 3-4 minutes. After that, the eggs will be well cleaned.
- Soft-boiled eggs in 5 minutes are ready, bon appetit!
Tips for the hostess
- Always check the freshness of eggs with a regular bowl and cold water. If after dipping the egg has surfaced, it is not fresh, and it is no longer possible to eat it.
- When buying eggs in a store, shake them slightly. A fresh egg will not hang inside, that is, it has no voids. If the egg is stale, then it will make a characteristic sound, and it is better not to buy it.
- A well-cooked egg has a uniform, yellow yolk, as well as an elastic and tender protein. A digested cyanotic egg is best avoided.
- It is better to choose a thinner pan for cooking eggs, and water should cover the eggs, no longer needed.
- If you cook soft-boiled eggs for a couple or a double boiler, then this will also take 5 minutes.
- As soon as the eggs are cooked, put them in cold water so that they are not digested.
