Ingredients
- Steamed rice - 1 stack.
- Prepared water - 2 stacks.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- Pour steamed rice (1 cup.) Into a deep bowl and rinse several times in water until the water is clear. Usually it is enough to rinse 2-3 times. It is convenient to do this preparation with a sieve, i.e. pour the cereal into a sieve and rinse thoroughly under running water.
- Pour prepared water (2 cups) into the pan, put on the stove and bring to a boil. For this type of rice, the ratio of cereals and water is 1: 2.
- Then put the prepared rice in boiling water, add salt (1 tsp) and mix so that it completely dissolves.
- Add vegetable oil (2 tbsp.) And mix again. Thanks to this, the prepared rice will be crumbly and even more delicious.
- Cover the pan and simmer until cooked. Steamed rice is cooked for 30 minutes.
- Remove the pan with cooked rice from the heat, cover with a warm kitchen towel and leave for some time (10-15 minutes) so that it is completely cooked. Put the finished side dish on plates and can be served.

Cooking Tips
- To make rice cooked faster, it is recommended to soak it in water for 40-50 minutes. Thanks to this trick, the cooking time will be reduced by 2 times. And in this case, less water is needed for cooking.
- Rice is recommended to be cooked in a pan or saucepan with a thick bottom, because in it the temperature is distributed evenly.
- In the process of cooking, it is not recommended to lift the lid, otherwise the porridge will cook longer. It is also not worthwhile to often interfere with rice, in this case, grains can break, and the finished porridge will eventually stick together
- The taste of the finished rice can be changed by adding various seasonings: cardamom, saffron, zira, caraway seeds, cloves, cinnamon or curry. You can also add spicy herbs, or citrus zest, cooked on a broth.
