Step cooking
- Pour one measuring cup of pearl barley into a sieve and rinse under running water until the liquid becomes clear.

Then the cereal absorbs all the water and becomes softer and more tender.
- After turning off the fire, the porridge should stand for a while in the pan under a closed lid. Salt the prepared porridge to taste, add a tablespoon of butter or use to prepare another dish.
