Step cooking
- To get started, prepare the vegetables. Peel one onion and one carrot and rinse under running water. Cut the onions into small cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
- Pour about 15-20 ml of vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and heat it. Then place the prepared vegetables in the bowl and select the “Baking” mode. Fry vegetables in this mode until soft and golden brown for about 7-8 minutes, occasionally stirring with a kitchen spatula. When vegetables are ready, turn off the “Baking” mode.
- Rinse with water 160 g of lentils and sort out as necessary, then pour it into a multicooker for vegetables. Red lentils do not require soaking. Pour all the ingredients with approximately 500-600 ml of water. Close the lid of the multicooker and select the "Buckwheat" mode, cook porridge until all the water has evaporated. When ready, salt the lentils to taste. This is best done at the end, as salt slows down the cooking process.
