- Remove stickers from 3 cans of condensed milk if they can be easily removed. Otherwise, leave the banks in their original form, it does not matter.
- Pour enough water into a large pot so that it covers the cans put or put into the pot with condensed milk 2-3 cm. Put the pot on a large fire. Cover.
An important point: during cooking, the jars should always be completely covered with water, otherwise the jar could explode. Therefore, add water to the pan while cooking condensed milk, set a timer so as not to forget that you have condensed milk cooked on the stove. After boiling water, reduce the gas to medium or small.
- After an hour (from the moment of boiling) of cooking, remove 1 can of condensed milk from the pan. Let it cool.
- Remove the second can of condensed milk from the pan after 2 hours of cooking. Put it in a cool place until it cools.
- After another hour, that is, 3 hours after boiling, turn off the fire under the pan and remove the last can of condensed milk from it.
- Condensed milk, which was cooked for 1 hour, has a yellow color and a slightly denser consistency than the initial product. It can be used to make cream, to decorate desserts.
- Milk, which was cooked for 2 hours, has the color of light caramel, a dense texture and a changed taste.
- After 3 hours of cooking, the condensed milk acquired a rich caramel color and the taste of boiled condensed milk. Choose the suitable option for cooking condensed milk, focusing on these results.
