Step cooking
At the preliminary stage, you need to chop and boil 1 kilogram of squid, which in the end will give 500 grams of boiled product. By the time of cutting, they should be completely cool. In addition, you need to cook 5 eggs, in the future only their proteins will be used. The rest of the cooking process looks like this:
- Take 1 onion and cut into very small strips, and then pour into a medium bowl.
- Pour 1 teaspoon of sugar in a bowl with onions. We add salt to it to taste. Pour 3 tablespoons of 9% vinegar into a bowl with onions and fill with water to completely cover the onion. Knead the onions thoroughly so that it is better marinated.
- We take 500 grams of boiled squid and cut into small strips. We shift the processed ingredient into a large bowl.
- We take 400 grams of crab sticks and cut into thin strips. To do this, it is first better to cut them as thin as possible along several plates, and then grind them diagonally. Pour chopped crab sticks into a large bowl of squid. Alternatively, you can use crab meat.
- Using a coarse grater, rub 250 grams of hard cheese into a bowl of squid and crab sticks.
- In the same way 5 proteins from boiled eggs are rubbed into a bowl.
- When the onion is marinated, drain the liquid from it through a colander, while squeezing it slightly to eliminate as much vinegar from the product as possible. Put the chopped onion in a large bowl to the rest of the ingredients.
- Take half of the red caviar - 70 grams - and add to the bowl to the ingredients. The second half will go on the design of the salad.
- We spread 150 grams of mayonnaise in it. If the salad is not planned to be served immediately, you can add mayonnaise later, before serving. It remains to add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl until the mass is relatively homogeneous. When serving a handful of salad on top, decorate with about 1 teaspoon of red caviar. You can also add chopped cucumbers and greens of your choice. On this, the preparation of a salad of squid and crab sticks comes to an end, bon appetit.
