Ingredients
Flour | 500 g |
Milk | 200 ml |
Sugar | 200 g |
Butter or Margarine | 200 g |
Salt | 0.5 tsp |
Eggs | 2 pcs. |
Fast yeast | 1 tbsp. l |
Starch | 1.5 tbsp. l |
Vanillin | 0.5 tsp |
Ground cinnamon | 2-3 tbsp. l |
Step cooking
Cooking dough
- Pour 100 grams of warm milk (36-37 degrees) into a deep bowl, add 1 tablespoon of high-speed yeast, half a teaspoon of salt and 4 tablespoons of sugar. Mix thoroughly to dissolve the yeast and sugar.
- Add half a teaspoon of vanillin, 2 eggs and 50 grams of melted butter or margarine to the milk (melt the butter in a microwave or in a water bath).
- Begin by adding 500 grams of flour to the liquid base, kneading the dough. The amount of flour may vary depending on the quality of the products you used. The dough should turn out soft and plastic, almost stick to your hands.
Cooking toppings
In a deep bowl, combine 150 grams of butter or margarine, one and a half tablespoons of starch and the remaining sugar. Stir until smooth.
Buns
- Sprinkle flour on the table or kitchen board. Put the dough on it. For convenience, cut it with a knife into two halves.
- Begin to roll out one part with a rolling pin into a rectangular-shaped formation about 5 millimeters thick.
- Lubricate the entire surface of the dough on one side with half the filling. Sprinkle with cinnamon or any other spices to your taste.
- Roll the dough with the filling inward into a loose roll.
- Cut the roll into pieces, thereby forming future buns. Repeat the process with the second part of the test.
Baking
- Transfer the sliced buns onto a baking sheet covered with parchment or oiled, slices down. Leave 3-4 cm between the buns.
- Cover the pan with a napkin or dry tea towel. Leave in a warm place for 30-60 minutes (depending on the activity of the yeast) so that the buns rise.
- Send the buns to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The baking time may differ from the stated, depending on the capacity of your oven. Check the readiness of the buns by their appearance - they should become ruddy and covered with a golden crust on top. After removing the pan from the oven, cover it briefly with a napkin or towel. When the buns have cooled, they can be served. Enjoy your meal!
