Step cooking
- Sterilize the jar with the lid in advance. To do this, install a metal sieve in a pot of water, and on top of it place a jar upside down. Steam the jar with steam for 10-15 minutes, and boil the lid in water. Then put the jar on a clean kitchen towel without turning it over. You can also sterilize containers using an oven or microwave.
- Prepare the garlic marinade. Pour 1 liter of water into the pan and place it on the stove with medium heat. Then put 3 pcs in a pot. bay leaf, add 1 tbsp. l salt and 1 tbsp. l Sahara. Also add approximately 10-12 pcs. black pepper peas and 2-3 pcs. allspice peas. Bring the water to a boil, then boil the spices for another 2-3 minutes. If desired, you can use herbs and spices for marinade, for example, thyme, coriander, ground ginger.
- In the meantime, prepare the garlic. You can marinate garlic with whole heads or cloves. For pickling with cloves, you can use both young and old garlic without damage. Divide the 3 heads of garlic into cloves and thoroughly peel them.
- Peeled garlic in a sterile jar. Then pour the garlic with the cooked marinade and add 2 tbsp in a jar. l apple cider vinegar. If you have 9% vinegar, then use 1 tbsp. l Close the jar with a screw or nylon cap. Turn the jar upside down and cover with a towel until it cools completely. Then send the jar of garlic to the refrigerator or basement. After about 5-6 days, the pickled garlic will be ready.
