Kitchen appliances and utensils
- cutting board,
- knife,
- cling film
- deep bowl
- bags for freezing,
- fridge
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 1 pcs.
Step cooking
- To cut a large pumpkin, you must first cut it in half. Then gently scrape the seeds and inner fibers with a spoon. If desired, the seeds can be separated from the fibers, washed and dried. Pumpkin seeds can be used as a treat if you lightly fry them in a dry frying pan, and they are also part of some dishes. After we took out the seeds and inner fibers, turn the half of the pumpkin on a cutting board with the slice down and begin to cut the peel. Please note that as a rule, the pumpkin has a very dense peel, and if the knife is not sharp enough, it can easily slip and injure you.
- Following the peel, we cut off the tail and the dense parts near it. Next, we divide the peeled pumpkin into several parts, cut into small cubes and pour them into a deep bowl.
- After that, we can use two ways to store pumpkin. Sliced pumpkin in a bowl can be covered with cling film and stored as such in the refrigerator for up to two days. The peeled but not chopped half of the pumpkin can also be tightly wrapped in cling film and refrigerated.
