Step cooking
- We clean the peel of seven medium-sized potatoes, peel them under running water, remove them to the side for now. We clear one medium onion of the husk, wash it under the tap, on the cutting board we chop the onion not very finely, but not in large pieces.
- Peeled and clean potatoes can be cut into thin slices with a knife on a cutting board. To facilitate the task, chop the potatoes on a cabbage grater.
- We send the pan to the stove, pour 100-150 ml of olive oil into it, heat it to the first haze, and then put the chopped onion into the pan.
- Immediately after the onions, put in the pan and shredded potatoes. Salt vegetables with one incomplete tablespoon of salt. Using a spatula, mix the ingredients in a pan so that each piece of potato is oiled. We level the vegetables along the bottom of the pan, cover it with a lid, reduce the heat and simmer the potatoes for 20-25 minutes.
- While the potatoes are being cooked, we proceed to the preparation of the egg mixture. Six eggs must be washed under running water with soap and a brush using a brush to prevent salmonellosis. We take a deep container and break the eggs there. Salt the broken eggs with about one teaspoon of salt and beat them with a whisk.
- 25 minutes have passed and we return to the potato. Remove the pan from the heat, put the potatoes with onions in a bowl with egg mixture with a slotted spoon, trying to leave the oil in the pan. Excess olive oil from the pan is poured into a small container, and it is again sent to the stove, turning on medium heat.
- Using a kitchen spoon, gently mix the potatoes with the egg mixture and pour this mass into the pan. Using a kitchen spatula, level the tortilla over the surface of the pan, cover with a lid, leave it on medium heat for five minutes.
- Five minutes later, we open the pan, with a kitchen spatula we pass along the entire perimeter of the pan, separating the tortilla from the edges of the container, and then shake the pan so that the tortilla separates from the dishes and rotates freely.
- To turn the product over to the other side, cover the pan with a flat plate, hold it down, turn the pan over with a sharp movement - the tortilla will be on the plate. We put the frying pan on the fire, put the inverted tortilla back in there, continue cooking over medium heat for another five minutes. After this time, turn off the fire, put the product on a flat dish, we can serve it. Do not forget to serve him with fresh vegetables or salad
