Step cooking
- Cut a small portion the size of a plum from a whole ginger root. Rinse and peel. Then grate ginger on a medium grater, you get about 2 tbsp. l grated ginger. Also, instead of rubbing ginger, you can cut it into very thin slices or small cubes - as you prefer.
- Rinse well one lemon under running water, then cut it into thin circles on a cutting board. You can also grind lemon with a blender or meat grinder.
- Place the chopped lemon in the teapot and add chopped ginger. In a teapot, boil 1 liter of water and pour boiling water over lemon and ginger.
- Cover and leave the teapot for about 10-15 minutes to allow the mixture to cool.
- After this time, when the water temperature dropped to about 80 ºС, add 1 tbsp to all the ingredients. l natural honey and mix well. Never add honey to boiling water, otherwise it will lose all its beneficial properties. Cover the kettle with a kitchen towel and infuse the drink for about an hour, after which it can be consumed.
- Such tea is quite suitable for every day.
Ginger hour with lemon and honey is not only tasty, but also a very healthy drink. It perfectly strengthens the immune system, helps with colds, improves the general condition of the body and adds energy. It is important that such tea does not require sugar, because it already contains a natural sweetener - honey.
It is best to brew fresh tea every day, but there may not always be enough time to prepare the ingredients. In this case, you can make a blank. To do this, grind lemon with ginger using a knife, blender or meat grinder. Add honey to everything and mix well. Then simply place the mixture in a dry, sterile jar and store in the refrigerator for future use.
You can diversify and even make ginger tea even healthier and tastier if you add a little cinnamon and mint to its composition. Rosehip, cardamom, fennel, fresh tarragon, lemon balm, cloves also complement this drink well. Based on your preferences, feel free to experiment with the composition and taste of aromatic tea.
