Step cooking
- Grate pumpkin and carrots on a coarse grater. Add sugar to the tomato paste and dilute it with water.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic. In a deep saucepan with butter, fry the onion until golden brown.
- Add carrots and simmer all together, stirring.
- Then add the pumpkin and mix.
- Pour the tomato paste, add spices, mix and simmer this mass under the lid over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add pepper and salt, chopped garlic, mix.
- Beat lightly with a hand blender.
- We cool caviar, and you can eat.
Cooking variations
In winter, vitamins are scarce. The body needs vegetables and fruits, but in winter, unfortunately, finding good vegetables is quite difficult. However, from those products that can be found in winter, you can cook very tasty caviar. Such pumpkin caviar is a real salvation for those who lack vitamins. And most importantly, it is very easy to do.
If you don’t like any of the ingredients in this caviar, you can replace them with the ones you like. For example, if you like spicy, you can add finely chopped hot red pepper and ground black pepper during cooking. If you want a sweeter caviar, add more sugar and honey can be added if desired. In case you want more nutritious caviar, you can add eggplant or zucchini, or any other vegetables to your taste. Do not be afraid to experiment, and your kitchen will always have delicious food!
