Ingredients
Product | amount |
thin pita bread | 3 pcs. |
cottage cheese 5-9% | 300 g |
cheese (any) | 250 g |
chicken eggs | 2 pcs. |
kefir (any fat content) | 250 ml |
salt | taste |
Step cooking
- First you need to grind the cottage cheese. Mash it in a deep plate or bowl with a fork. You can use a submersible blender, then the mass will be more uniform and airy.
- Add salt to the curd to taste, but you can not add it at all.
- Grate 250 g of hard cheese on a coarse grater. For this recipe, sausage cheese is perfect, which will add spice to the dish.
- Combine grated cheese with salted cottage cheese and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Beat 2 eggs in a separate plate, add 250 ml of kefir to them and mix until smooth.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, grease it with sunflower oil and lay out 1 sheet of pita bread. Pita bread should, on the one hand, be slightly larger, and on the other, completely distributed on the surface of the baking sheet.
- The remaining 2 sheets of pita bread should be torn into large pieces. Moisten 1/3 of these pieces in the egg-kefir mixture and put on the prepared whole pita bread.
- Pour a portion of cheese-curd filling from above onto ragged pita bread and evenly distribute it over the entire area.
- Repeat the layer of ragged pita bread and the layer of cheese filling.
- The final layer should be pita bread, after which the edges of the pie must be closed and the top covered with the free edge of the sheet of pita bread.
- Smear the top of the closed cake with the remaining mixture of eggs and kefir, so the top will acquire a beautiful golden hue and will not be overdried.
- Remove the pita bread with the filling in the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Focus on the cooking time depending on the operation of your oven.
