Ingredients
Beef (preferably neck) | 800 g |
Onion | 2 pcs. |
Garlic | 2 cloves |
Wheat flour | 2 tbsp. l |
Bay leaf | 2 pcs. |
Tomato paste | 4 tbsp. l |
A mixture of peppers (or black pepper) | 1 tsp |
Salt | 2 tsp |
Water (boiling water) | 800 ml |
Vegetable oil (for frying) | 3 tbsp. l |
Step cooking

- My beef under running water, dried with a paper towel and cut into medium pieces the size of a walnut.
- Cut the onions into small cubes, chop the garlic even finer.
- Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, select the "Frying" mode, the type of product "Meat" and press Start. We wait 3 minutes for the oil to warm. After three minutes, we send the meat to fry for 7-8 minutes.
- Add onion and garlic, fry for another 7-8 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, turn off the "Frying" mode, add 2 tbsp. l flour, mix. If a lot of liquid remains, you can add another half a tablespoon.
- Add tomato paste, salt, pepper mixture, bay leaf. Pour boiling water over everything and mix.
- Close the lid of the multicooker, select the "Extinguishing" mode, the type of product "Meat", set the time to 1 hour 20 minutes.
- Goulash is ready!

Serving food
As a garnish for goulash, you can serve mashed potatoes, spaghetti, buckwheat or rice porridge. A light salad of fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce) will be an excellent addition to the whole dish. We advise serving goulash with a side dish at lunchtime, as this is a rather high-calorie dish that can provide you with a feeling of satiety for a long time until dinner.
