Ingredients
- Pears - 2 kg
- Cane sugar - 1 stack.
- Dry red wine - 750 ml
- Cinnamon Stick - 1 pc.
- Orange - 1 pc.
- Dried cloves to taste
Step cooking
- Pears (you will need about 2 kg of these fruits, they should be without visible damage and have a dense texture) cut in half and thoroughly peeled and peeled.
- Carefully cut the zest from an orange with a knife (with a thin ribbon).
- We take the baking dish, pour one glass of cane sugar into it and evenly distribute it along the bottom of the form with an even layer.
- Spread peeled halves of pears on top of sugar.
- Sprinkle pears with dried cloves (you will need 1 small handful).
- Break one stick of cinnamon and also add to the mold.
- Following the cinnamon, put in the shape of the zest of orange for a more intense flavor. Also, water the pears abundantly with the juice of this very peeled orange.
- Pour 1 bottle of dry red wine (750 ml) into the mold.
- We put the form with pears in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 60 minutes.
- Within an hour, you must periodically open the oven and use a spoon to pour pears with wine from the mold.
- After a specified period of time, we take out the form with pears from the oven and enjoy the result.
Decoration and serving
Serving pears in red wine is recommended with mascarpone cheese, sour cream or vanilla ice cream, after pouring them with hot syrup. You can also optionally pour chocolate sauce when serving and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. In order to diversify the taste of such a dessert, you can also add vanilla or a few peas of allspice to the pears. Enjoy your meal!
