Step cooking
- Peel 1 onion from the husk and cut it into small cubes.
- We peel 2 carrots and cut them into semicircles.
- Remove the husks from 2-3 cloves of garlic and cut them into thin plates.
- Pour into the pan 2 tbsp. l sunflower oil, put on medium heat and wait for it to warm up.
- When the oil has warmed up, put the chopped onion, chopped carrots and plates of garlic in the pan, reduce the heat, cover and simmer until the vegetables are soft, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes.
- Using a can opener, open 1 can with a stew and a tablespoon, gently mix its contents.
- After 10 minutes, lay the stew for vegetables, mix everything with a spatula and simmer over low heat for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour 1 cup of buckwheat into a sieve and rinse it under running water until the escaping water is clear. After 5 minutes, add washed buckwheat, 2 bay leaves, 0.5 tsp to the pan. thyme, 0.5 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper, mix all the ingredients, add 2 cups of water and wait for the liquid to boil.
- When the water boils, mix everything again and leave to boil over low heat, not forgetting to stir with a spatula until the liquid boils. This process will take about 30-40 minutes.
- We wash half a bunch of dill under running water, dry it, cut the stems and chop the greens with a knife.
- When all the liquid has boiled away, add chopped dill and 1 tbsp. l butter, mix everything, put the finished dish on a dinner plate and serve.
Important! To diversify or complement the taste of this dish, you can add to it separately fried forest mushrooms, which are laid in a pan along with buckwheat. To give a special flavor, use cilantro and spring onions, which must be added 5-7 minutes before being cooked.
