Step cooking
Prepare the ingredients
- We clear one onion of husk, wash it under a tap, cut into thin rings on a cutting board, place on a plate and remove until sideways.
- We get the frozen mushrooms from the refrigerator in advance, give them time to defrost at room temperature. If you use fresh mushrooms, then 300-400 grams of this vegetable is washed under a tap, put in a colander and let the water drain, and the mushrooms dry out a little.
- We peel one large carrot, wash it under the tap, rub on a medium grater, place it on a plate separately, while we remove it to the side.
Cooking a dish
- We put a pan on the stove, turn on the fire, pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into the pan. When the oil warms up well, put the onions, cut into thin rings, into the pan.
- Fry the onion for a short time, until golden brown, immediately add the grated carrots to it. Fry for three or four minutes, constantly mix the onions and carrots in a pan.
- Now we put mushrooms in the pan, which will immediately give a small amount of moisture. Fry the mushrooms until all the moisture has evaporated, and they will begin to fry.
- When the mushrooms are fried, in a pan where carrots and onions were fried together with them, add five glasses of water. Pour there one teaspoon of salt, stir and wait until the mixture begins to boil.
- Two and a half cups of buckwheat are washed several times with cold water until the water becomes clean and transparent. When the mixture boils in the pan, we send the washed buckwheat into the pan, mix the ingredients, cover the pan with a lid.
- We leave the pan with buckwheat and mushrooms on the stove until the buckwheat porridge is completely cooked. This is approximately 15-20 minutes.
When the buckwheat is boiled, open the lid, we see that all the moisture has absorbed, and we have a very aromatic, tasty, crumbly dish that can be served to the table.
