Step cooking
Prepare the gravy with meat
- Cut 400-500 g of pork pulp into small strips. You can and a cube - it all depends on your preferences.
- Cut 70-80 g of carrots into thin strips. If in a hurry, you can grate it on a coarse grater, but sliced carrots will be tastier.
- Cut 100-120 g of onions into quarter rings. Chop 2 cloves of garlic finely.
- Add a little vegetable oil to a preheated pan. Then add the chopped meat and fry it until golden brown - about 10 minutes. Do not forget to stir.
- Now add the chopped onion, mix and fry until the onion is soft and transparent. Add garlic and fry for a couple more minutes.
- Put the chopped carrots for the meat, mix and fry for 3-5 minutes.
- Then add 40-50 g of tomato paste, mix and leave to simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Then pour the contents of the pan with hot water, salt, add black ground pepper, cumin and cilantro. Stir the gravy, cover the pan and leave to simmer for 50-60 minutes at the lowest heat.
- 15 minutes before the end of cooking, add 25 g of flour to the gravy, mix well. Thanks to this, it will become thicker.
Prepare a side dish
- Heat a clean frying pan over medium heat, then place 250 g of washed buckwheat in it. Fry for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly. So the porridge will be tastier.
- Pour the cereal in the pan with hot water. Its level should be 2 fingers above buckwheat. Add salt, mix and cover the pan.
- As soon as buckwheat absorbs all the water, mix the porridge and remove from heat.
- Put a little buckwheat on the plate. Put some meat and vegetables on top of the porridge, then pour the buckwheat with a small amount of the gravy itself. If desired, you can decorate the dish with finely chopped fresh herbs. Everything is ready, buckwheat with gravy and meat can be served to the table. Enjoy your meal!
