Step cooking
- We peel 2 carrots and rub them on a medium grater.
- Remove the husks from 2 onions and cut them into small squares.
- We wash 9-10 chicken legs under running water, remove excess moisture with a paper towel and carefully remove the skin.
- Shins are placed in a deep container, add about 1 tsp. salt and 2 pinches of pepper and mix with your hands to evenly salt and pepper the chicken meat.
- Turn on the oven 200 ° so that it has time to warm up. We sort out 700 g of buckwheat groats, put it in a metal sieve and rinse thoroughly under cold water.
- Pour 1-2 tbsp into the form. l sunflower oil and carefully lubricate it, paying special attention to the walls and corners, so that in the process of baking the cereal does not stick to them. We spread 700 g of washed buckwheat and level it with a uniform layer.
- Sprinkle on top with 2 onions, cut into squares, distributing them on all surfaces of buckwheat.
- On the onion layer spread evenly 2 grated carrots.
- Sprinkle on top 1-2 tsp. salt and 1-2 pinches of black pepper.
- We spread the chicken drumsticks at approximately the same distance, first the top row, then the bottom row in a checkerboard pattern.
- Gently pour 400-500 ml of hot water in such a way so as not to touch the chicken, and the water level has reached grated carrots.
- We cover our mold with foil so that it tightly covers the entire baking container, and fix it on the sides, just bending down the edges. We put the foil-covered form in a preheated oven for 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, we take out the form, put a buckwheat and chicken on a plate with a tablespoon, and serve.
