Buckwheat preparation
- We wash 250 g of buckwheat groats until the water becomes clear when draining. If necessary, before rinsing, sort out the groats.
- Spread in a deep pan, put on fire. We evenly distribute along the bottom, dry and fry without adding oil. Set aside, let cool slightly.
Vegetable preparation
- Dice 1 large onion into small cubes. On a coarse grater, rub 1 carrot. Grind 3 cloves of garlic.
- Finely chop 1 bunch of parsley with dill.
Cooking porridge with minced meat
- We put the stewpan on the fire. Pour 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil.
- Spread the chopped onion, lightly fry until transparent, for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the grated carrot. Mix everything, fry for 3-4 minutes.
- We put 400 g of minced meat. Minced meat can be chosen any: pork, beef, pork and beef, chicken. In general, what you love - and put it.
- Mix everything, fry for 5 - 7 minutes. Add 2 tbsp. l Tomato paste, mix. Fry for another 2 minutes. We spread buckwheat. Pour 380 ml of water, mix.
- Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cook everything under the lid over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes until the water evaporates. If buckwheat is not yet ready, add a little more water and cook until tender.
- Add chopped garlic, mix, so that the garlic evenly gives its taste and smell. Cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Spread most of the chopped greens, give a little steam over under the lid
- . We spread the ready-made porridge on a plate, crush with the remaining greens. Serve the dish hot.
Cooking options
- When cooking this dish, minced meat can be replaced with pieces of meat. It can be pork, chicken, beef. The meat must be fried with onions and carrots for 5 to 10 minutes until a golden blush appears, and then only spread the buckwheat. The dish will become similar to pilaf, but from this no less tasty.
- Tomato paste before adding can be diluted in 0.5 tbsp. water. And you can mix with 2 tbsp. warm water, salt and pour into a pan where the meat is fried, then put buckwheat.
- Carrots can be cut into strips, and garlic is passed through a press.
- Boil buckwheat until it absorbs all the water, then put it off the heat and let it stand under the closed lid for 10 minutes.
- Serve the dish better with fresh vegetables.
