- We sort and wash 1 cup of buckwheat. We throw it in a colander so that the excess water and buckwheat are slightly dried up. Do not wring it out so as not to damage the grains.
- Shred 1 medium-sized carrot.
- Finely chop 1 onion.
Minced meat preparation
- We put the pan on the fire, put 10 - 20 g of butter, melt it. Spread 200 - 250 g of minced meat.
- Fry. It is not necessary to salt, because the minced meat will then give water, and it will be stewed, not fried. Constantly stir, always break with a spatula so that there are no lumps, and the minced meat is small. Fry until the water evaporates completely. Stuffing can be replaced with sausage, stew. If you cook with stew, then you do not need to add butter, there is enough of your fat.
- After evaporating the water, fry for 3 to 4 minutes. We put the minced meat on a plate, press it with a spoon to the sides of the pan, so that the excess oil remains in the pan. If there are pieces of minced meat at the bottom - it's okay, they will overcook with vegetables.
Cooking minced meat with vegetables
- Add 10 g of butter, melt it. Pour chopped onion. Fry until transparent, stir constantly. We spread the chopped carrot. Fry with onions. If you think that the oil is not enough, then add more. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Instead of carrots, you can put sweet bell pepper, or add sweet pepper to carrots.
- We spread the fried minced meat. We mix everything. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes. We remove from the fire, set aside. At the end of frying, add salt and black pepper to taste.
Buckwheat Cooking
- We put the pan on fire, heat it. We spread 10 - 20 g of oil, melt.
- When the oil hissed, pour the buckwheat. Do not salt. We fry until a pleasant buckwheat, a slightly burnt smell goes. Constantly mix, so as not to burn, otherwise it will turn out to be bitter in taste.
- Reduce the fire. The seeds are roasted. If you take any cereal, except semolina, and overcook before cooking, it will always turn out friable. We put a kettle with water to boil. Water will need a little, approximately 500 ml. To the buckwheat, slowly pour hot water into the pan. Water should cover the flat surface of buckwheat. Pour carefully so as not to get burned, because steam will go out.
- When the water boils and all the steam comes out, close the lid. Keep under cover until buckwheat absorbs all the water. It takes about 3 minutes to do this. Open the lid, add more water, again wait until it boils. So do 3 times. While buckwheat is cooked, periodically open the lid and stir. Salt buckwheat to taste.
We connect the dish
- To buckwheat, when all the water has evaporated, put the minced meat, carrots and onions.
- Mix. We fry 3 - 5 minutes. Turn off the fire. We cover the porridge loosely with a lid, it will reach by itself.
