Step cooking
- First, prepare the meat. We will use 400 g of pork pulp. You can take the same or replace pork with chicken. Chicken thighs or drumsticks are great. In general, you can take any meat that you have in the kitchen. Pre-rinse it and dry it. It should be noted that the best meat will be fresh, bought from trusted sellers. Pork cut into small portions. We cut into cubes the size of a centimeter. It can be cut into large pieces, but then it will need to be fried longer.
- We clean the onion, wash it under running water, cut into small cubes.
- We peel one clove of garlic, rinse, cut very finely or pass through the garlic. A very pleasant aroma is obtained in a dish in which fresh green garlic has been added. Fresh garlic can be replaced with dried garlic. Peel the carrots, wash them under running water and rub on a coarse grater. If you want, cut it into thin sticks.
- We turn on the multicooker, select the “frying” mode, set the time for 20 minutes. In a slow cooker, pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil, let it heat.
- Add chopped onions with carrots and garlic. Add one tablespoon of butter to the vegetables. Thanks to butter, buckwheat is very aromatic. During frying, do not forget to mix the vegetables with a silicone or wooden spatula.
- Fry vegetables for five minutes. During this time, the onion is gilded, and the carrots become soft. Add the meat and fry for 10 minutes under the lid, stirring occasionally. During this time, the meat will turn white. While the meat is being prepared, we heat 4.5 multi-glasses of water.
- Pour three multi-glasses of buckwheat groats into a deep bowl, rinse several times with water. Then add it to the meat. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper or a mixture of peppers to taste. Pour buckwheat with hot water, which is boiled previously.
- We close the lid, set the “grits” mode, the cooking time is 40 minutes.
- After this time, open the lid, mix the buckwheat with meat and can serve. Pour it into portioned plates, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Additionally, we can offer ketchup or any tomato sauce for porridge.
