Ingredients
- Buns - 4-5 pcs.
- Ham - 200 g
- Hard cheese - 150 g
- Tomato - 1 pc.
- French mustard - 1 tsp.

- Homemade mayonnaise - 4 tbsp. l
- Milk - 2.5% 100 ml
- Refined sunflower oil - 200 ml
- Mustard - 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Ground pepper - to taste
Step cooking
- We cut 200 g of ham first into slices, then into cubes, and finally into cubes. For hot sandwiches, you can use boiled sausage, boiled meat (chicken or even veal), smoked chicken. In general, what you have, what you love, you can use.
- Wash the tomato (1 pc.), Cut into cubes. Add to the bowl to the ham.
- I wash a small bunch of dill, let the water drain and finely chop. Instead of dill, you can use parsley, cilantro or other herbs that you love.
- Hard cheese (150 g) is rubbed on a coarse grater. You can take any cheese you like. Put the cheese in a bowl to all other ingredients.
- Now add 4 tablespoons of homemade mayonnaise.
- Take 4 tablespoons of our mayonnaise and season the hot sandwich mixture in the bowl. There we add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and a freshly ground mixture of peppers to taste. All this mix well.
- Now take 4-5 elongated buns and cut them in half along. Press the pulp with your fingers so that the filling fits inside.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the filling on the entire surface of the bun and lay the bun on a baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
- After this time, the buns were baked, the cheese melted, and the filling turned out to be juicy, because there is a tomato. These sandwiches are very tasty both hot and cold.
Mayonnaise Recipe
- If you do not have such mayonnaise - it does not matter. It’s not difficult to cook it. But you will be sure that you are using a quality product from natural ingredients. Our mayonnaise is unusual. It is cooked without eggs in milk.
- Pour 100 ml of milk into the blender bowl. Normal milk 2.5% fat. There we pour 200 ml of refined sunflower oil. Beat with a blender until thickened. Mayonnaise thickens in literally 30 seconds. Now you can add everything else.
- Salt to taste (about 1 teaspoon). Squeeze the juice from the lemon. You should get about 1 teaspoon of juice. Lemon juice can be replaced with vinegar. Add 1 teaspoon of mustard. If you do not like mustard, then you can not add it. Still (optional) add a little freshly ground mixture of peppers.
- All mix well with a spatula. Mayonnaise turns yellow with mustard. It is no different from that mayonnaise that is cooked on eggs - thick and tasty.
