Step cooking
- If your fish has been frozen, defrost it. Then clean the fish from the scales, remove the fins and tail, raise the bones if possible. Rinse well under cool water. You can dry with paper towels.
- Slice the pink salmon in portions and put on a plate. Sprinkle with seasoning for the fish to taste. If seasoning alone is not enough, then salt the fish with a pinch of salt. Perhaps you prefer some of your favorite spice or yourself prepare a seasoning from individual spices, then use it. You can also pepper a little fish.
- Peel the two onion heads and cut them into half rings.
- In order for each piece of fish to remain in its juice and not stick together with others, wrap them separately from each other in foil. To do this, tear off the amount of foil you need for each serving.
- Put a tablespoon of sour cream in the center of the foil. Place one slice of fish on top and a little chopped onion on top of it. Put a spoonful of sour cream on top of everything. Carefully wrap the fish in foil and repeat the same steps with all its pieces. They should turn out approximately 8-9. Put everything on a baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ºС and send your fish to bake for about 30 minutes. After this time, everything was well baked and your dish is ready. The fish was tender and aromatic.
If you want to diversify and saturate the taste of baked pink salmon, you can prepare a light sauce from sour cream. To do this, add 2-3 cloves of chopped garlic and finely chopped dill or parsley into it. Then, just as suggested in the recipe, combine sour cream sauce with fish.
Also, before baking pink salmon steaks, you can sprinkle with lemon juice, add tomato slices to all the ingredients and sprinkle with hard cheese. There are a lot of options for additional components, so it comes down only to your preferences and tastes.
As a side dish, this juicy soft fish is suitable for mashed potatoes, rice with vegetables or spaghetti. You can decorate the dish by laying it on a salad leaf, sprinkle finely chopped greens on top and add a slice of lemon on the side.
