Step cooking

- We put a pan on the stove, fill it with water in a ratio of 2 to 1 to the amount of rice.
- Pour the rice into a deep bowl and rinse under cold running water to wash off the starch.
- When the water in the pan boils, add salt to it and put the rice, mix lightly and close the lid. Cook for 20 minutes over low heat, and cook fish during cooking.
Cooking fish
- Pre-wash the fish and clean it from scales. Next, you need to separate the fish fillet from the bones. To do this, it is necessary to make an incision along the ridge, and then carefully separate the fillets in parallel with other bones.
- We cut the fish in small portions with the skin.
- Cut onions in half rings.
- We heat the pan with a small amount of vegetable oil, put the onion on it.
- At this time, rub the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the onion, fry the vegetables until golden brown.
- Add tomato paste and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add spices to the finished vegetables, mix well. Pour a glass of warm water into the pan to make a marinade.
- As soon as the marinade begins to boil, put the prepared pieces of fish into the pan, trying to completely immerse it in the marinade.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
- After the time of cooking the rice, turn it off, remove from the stove. We are waiting for the fish to cook. Once the fish is ready, put the rice and fish on a portioned plate, and we can serve it to the table!
Serving and serving variations
It is not necessary to use rice as a side dish - you can take any other side dish to your liking. You can decorate a portioned serving with a sprig of any greens, and to give a more pronounced taste, you can pour the fish with lemon or lime juice, which will also make it more shiny and attractive.
