Ingredients
- Beef - 0.5 kg
- Onion - 1 pc.

Step cooking
- We cut beef weighing 0.5 kg into small pieces. We chop the onion coarsely.
- We pass the meat and onions through a meat grinder.
- Add minced meat and pepper to taste, mix well. In order to form meatballs, you should moisten your hands with water, then the stuffing will not stick. We pluck off the pieces of minced meat and roll them between our palms into balls. We make the size of meatballs at will: it is possible small, the size of a cherry, and it is possible more - with a walnut.
- With such meatballs, a very tasty soup is obtained, for which you do not need to cook the broth. Grind carrots on a coarse grater and dip in boiling water. A kilogram of potatoes is peeled and cut into cubes, sent after the carrot.
- After 10 minutes, put in the meatball soup. Cook, depending on the size of meatballs, up to half an hour. Do not forget to salt and pepper the soup.
Useful Tips
- Meatballs can be prepared from any meat, and even better - from a mixture of different types, for example, pork and beef.
- Meat for meatballs should not be greasy, otherwise when cooking in soup unappetizing fat will appear.
- You can add some bread or semolina to the meatballs - this will make them softer and more tender.
- Meatballs can be harvested for future use by freezing them.
