Step cooking
- My three tilapia fillets and carefully check for the presence of small bones. If they do exist, then carefully remove them with tweezers.
- Peel and thoroughly wash one onion and one carrot.
- Cut the carrots into circles and onions in half rings. Wash and cut into circles one tomato. Color and tomato variety does not play a role. Rub on a coarse grater 100 grams of hard cheese. Take a sort of product that will melt well.
- Cover the baking sheet with foil and put on it 40 grams of butter, cut into small pieces.
- Next, lay out a layer of chopped carrots and onions.
- Sprinkle the tilapia fillet lightly with dry ginger and spread it on the vegetables. Top the fish with tarragon, Italian herbs, oregano, salt and black pepper. Optionally, herbs can be replaced with others, or not used at all.
- Then squeeze on the fillet the juice of half a lemon. This will give the dish a refined sourness.
- Put tomato slices on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- We turn on the oven 180 degrees Celsius, and when it has warmed up, put a baking sheet with fish in it. Cook for 30-35 minutes, remove from the oven, transfer to beautiful plates in portions and serve on the table with a side dish.

- Such a fish is served as a main dish, portioned in a hot form.
- As a complement, you can make a side dish of stewed or fresh vegetables.
- If the fish variety is fatty enough, then you can bake it in a special container so that the juice does not spread on the baking sheet. If you do not have such containers, then make them out of foil in the form of boats. So the juices will not leak out and the fish will be juicy.
- To complement the dish, decorate the prepared portions with thin slices of lemon and fresh herbs.
- Also, such a recipe can be supplemented with light sauce. For example, you can make a cream and serve it in a beautiful saucepan so that the person himself decides whether he wants to add the sauce or not.
- White dry or semi-sweet wine will perfectly shade the taste of baked fish.
