First of all, prepare the beans for the further cooking process. This is done in the evening, or at least 3-4 hours before cooking. For this recipe, white large beans are suitable (a tribute to traditions, well, and, in addition, beans of this variety are less prone to "boiling"). First, sort out the beans from any unnecessary impurities, at the same time look for the presence of unwanted “rooting” - bugs. Then rinse under cold water. Well, finally, soak in cold tap water. Water should completely cover the beans, and rise from above by a finger or two - so that the beans are well swollen.
  1. Beans are prepared immediately when they are well swollen. Put the beans in a pan and pour clean cold water (preferably drinking). According to the recipe, 1 liter of water is needed. But you look at whether all the beans are covered and if there is a place where to cook. It is allowed to add another 1 glass of water. Put the pot on the fire and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer the beans until soft. You need to be very careful and not digest the beans, since the prescription needs whole, not bursted ones. Cooking takes 40-50 minutes. Just try beans sometimes: if you become soft, then you're ready!

Cut the onion into small cubes, pepper too. Put a frying pan on a fire, warm it well and pour 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil (olive oil in it) into it, and put 2 tablespoons of butter.
