Step cooking
- Take 1 medium onion, peel and cut into small cubes on a cutting board.
- Next, cut 2 cloves of garlic also finely, you can use a garlic squeezer.
- Take 1 large carrot and rub it on the largest grater.
- Turn on the gas or electric stove, heat the pan over medium heat and pour 1 tablespoon of any vegetable oil into it.
- In the preheated oil, put the previously chopped onion with garlic and carrots, mix everything thoroughly. It is necessary to fry vegetables for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so that nothing burns.
- While vegetables are fried in a pan, peel and chop 1 bell pepper. Cut it into very small cubes.
- In a pan with onions and carrots, add finely chopped bell pepper, mixing everything thoroughly. By the way, the color of paprika does not play any role, take the one that you like. Fry vegetables for another 5 minutes.
- While vegetables are fried, take 1/2 of the parsley bunch and finely chop with a knife. Parsley is also an optional ingredient, you can take cilantro, basil and dill.
- Open 2 cans of sterilized beans, drain all the liquid into the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Put 2 tablespoons of tomato paste in a pan and mix everything. Add spices and salt to taste, mix and send to stew for 5 minutes.
- Now you can pour 2 cans of beans and mix it well with vegetable sauce. Make sure that it does not contain sugar and other harmful components.
- Add half the previously chopped parsley, according to the old scheme, mix everything and simmer for another 3 minutes.
- Beans in tomato sauce is ready! Pour into a plate and decorate with the rest of parsley. Enjoy your meal!
How to cook beans yourself
If you do not like sterilized beans, then you can cook it at home. To do this, take 1 cup of dried beans, pour it into a deep container and fill it with water, twice as much in volume as the dried beans. We leave everything for the night.
The next day, drain the remaining water and transfer the beans to the pan. Fill with water so that it completely covers the beans, and set to boil on high heat until it boils. When the water boils, reduce the heat to a minimum, and cook for 45-60 minutes. Beans should be soft. 5 minutes before the end of readiness salt to taste.
