Step cooking
- First, wash, peel, cut in half and chop two medium-sized white onions.
- Then wash and chop three branches of celery. Cut them into slices no thicker than 2 centimeters.
- Grind 6 or less cloves of garlic. The amount is determined to your taste. No need to use garlic, here you can do with a knife and cut into slices.
- We take a little less than a whole bunch of parsley, cut off the legs and chop the leaves. Take about as much mint as parsley. By analogy, we get rid of the sticks and cut the leaves.
- If you are not used to spicy foods, then adding the next ingredient is not necessary. However, seasoning lovers can take a few pieces of chili pepper and chop it into small pieces.
- Next, we need 500 grams of peeled tomatoes. In this case, we took ready-made Italian tomatoes.
- We wash the soaked beans in cold water and drain all the liquid. We transfer it to the pan, fill it with water so that the water level is higher than the beans by a centimeter, and put on the stove. After boiling, reduce the heat and set the timer for one hour. When the foam appears, remove it periodically.
- The next step will be frying. Pour extra virgin olive oil into the pan. We spread onion and celery in it. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until the onions are clear. Do not forget to stir. After that, add garlic cloves to the onion, close the lid and leave for one minute.
- Add tomato and mix thoroughly the contents of the pan. We increase the fire, cover and set the timer for 7 minutes. If you like chili pepper, you need to add it along with tomatoes.
- After 7 minutes, add the greens and cook our seasonings for one minute.
- At this point, pepper the vegetables with ground black pepper in the amount of one teaspoon, mix and cover. Leave on for 5 minutes. Add black or regular finely ground salt in the amount of one tablespoon. Distribute evenly.
- Chestnut honey will give the dish a unique taste, we need to add 2-3 tablespoons of it.
- Stir the contents of the pan and leave for half an hour on low heat.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Drain the liquid from the beans not all, leaving two glasses separately. In a baking dish, spread the beans.
- Pour it with sauce and mix. Add the liquid from the beans. On top of the whole dish, distribute one glass of cold spring water and send the dish to bake.
- Bake the dish for two hours, stirring every half hour.
