Step cooking
- First, we are preparing the filling for stuffed peppers. For this, 100 g of onions are peeled and cut into small cubes. Pour 2-3 tbsp into the pan. l vegetable oil and fry the onions for several minutes until it acquires a golden hue.
- While the onions are fried, rinse the zucchini under running water. If it is medium in size, then we use only half of it. If the zucchini is small, then you can add it to the filling. On a coarse grater, rub the zucchini and send it to fry in a pan along with onions. Vegetables should be fried over medium heat, not forgetting to stir them with a spatula.
- We wash 2 mushrooms of champignon so that there is no dirt left on them. Cut them into thin slices about 1-2 mm thick. Then they are still chopped so that they are chopped finely enough.
- Put the cut mushrooms in a pan to the onion and zucchini, mixing everything well. Do not forget to salt and pepper the filling to taste.
- In a deep bowl we put 300-350 g of minced meat. You can make it yourself by twisting the meat in a meat grinder, or purchase it in the store already ready. For stuffed peppers, use pork, beef or chicken. First, boil the rice in a small pan, in total 200 g of boiled product will be required for the dish. Add boiled rice to the bowl with minced meat.
- Minced meat with rice, salt to taste and slightly pepper black ground pepper.
- We remove the fried vegetables from the stove and, using the burner, give them a taste and set fire to the top.
- Ready-made vegetable filling is added to the bowl with minced meat and rice. Mix well with a tablespoon or hands. Thanks to the soft and fried vegetables, stuffed peppers are juicy.
- Cut a small bunch of parsley into small pieces and add to the prepared mincemeat. After adding greens, re-mix all the ingredients.
- After the mince is ready, proceed to the preparation of sweet peppers. Cut off the tail with a sharp knife. It is worth trimming it carefully, grabbing part of the pepper a little. Ponytails do not throw out, we need them when cooking. Using a knife, we take out the core so as not to damage the pepper itself. Similarly, clean the remaining 3-4 peppers, completely removing all seeds.
- In turn, we stuff 4 sweet peppers with prepared meat.Do not feel sorry for the meat filling and, when filling, lightly ram it with a tablespoon. Minced meat spread a little with the top.
- Stuffed peppers put in a medium saucepan and cover with cut tails on top.
- Break a large bay leaf into several small pieces and send them to a pan with stuffed peppers.
- If you still have a small head of broccoli, then you should not throw it out. Cut it a little and put in a pan to the peppers.
- Cut 2-3 slices of lemon and put them in a pan. They will give the finished dish a special acid. It is not necessary to use fresh citrus, even a slightly dried lemon will do.
- To give the stuffed peppers a flavor, add 1-2 cloves of garlic to the pan, which are pre-cut into pieces. Do not crush garlic or pass it through a press.
- We cut the champignon, pre-washed under running water, into several large enough pieces and send it to the pan to the rest of the products.
- Tomato cut into 4 slices also helps to give the finished dish a better taste.
- Top with stuffed peppers and other products in a pan with paprika. Such a spice gives the dish not only taste, but also makes its color more saturated. Season the dish with a pinch of ground black pepper if desired.
- Before cooking, add the stuffed peppers a little and water 2-3 tbsp. l vegetable oil. You can use olive or sunflower.
- Pour into the center of the pan about 1/2 tbsp. l soy sauce. If such a product was not found in your refrigerator, then you can do without it.
- To speed up the cooking process, boil 1 liter of water in a kettle in advance. Pour boiled water over stuffed peppers. Control the amount of fluid yourself, it is important that the peppers are only half submerged in water.
- We close the pan on top with aluminum foil or a lid. We put the pan on the stove and bring the dish to a boil over medium or high heat. After the liquid in the pan boils, we rearrange the pan in the oven, including a temperature of about 200 degrees. Cook the stuffed peppers in the oven for another 30 minutes.
- After half an hour, the stuffed peppers are ready.
- We take them out of the oven and carefully lay them out on a beautiful plate. Peppers can be poured over the broth in which they were cooked. Stuffed peppers can be served with a slice of bread and fresh herbs.
