Step cooking
- Peel 6 peppers by removing the stalk and seeds. Juicy walls of pepper remaining at the stalk need to be cut and chopped into pieces.
- Boil water in a saucepan. Dip the prepared pepper in boiling water for 5 minutes. Catch them with a slotted spoon on a separate plate and let cool.
- Finely chop 80-100 g of onions. Also chop finely 1 clove of garlic.
- Grate 90 g carrots on a coarse grater.
- Put in a deep bowl 600 g of ground beef, add 200 g of boiled rice, salt, spices and mix well.
- Heat a frying pan with a little vegetable oil. Put chopped onion on it, fry until transparent.
- Add the chopped garlic to the pan, mix and fry for another minute.
- Add grated carrots and scraps of pepper to the onion and garlic. Stir and simmer over medium heat until cooked.
- Add 150 g of mashed tomatoes to the vegetables.
- Salt a little, add 3-5 g of sugar, spices. Simmer for a few more minutes, then remove the vegetable dressing from the stove.
- Spread the minced meat over peeled peppers. You do not need to tamp hard, but do not leave half-empty peppers.
- Put stuffed peppers in a pan. Put vegetable dressing on them, distributing it evenly over the entire surface of the peppers.
- Add water to the pan; it should completely cover its contents. Salt and pepper a little.
- Place the pot over medium heat, cover and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to a minimum and simmer the dish under the lid for another 1 hour. Enjoy your meal!
In addition to pepper, you can use absolutely any spices. The main thing is that you like them. Instead of mashed tomatoes, you can add fresh sliced tomatoes to the dressing. But in this case, you must first clean them from the skins, pouring boiling water over boiling water for several minutes. And you can completely replace tomatoes with tomato paste. You can also add a little sour cream to the dressing, this will make the taste richer and richer.
