Step cooking
We suggest you cook stuffed peppers with minced meat according to a step-by-step recipe with a photo:
- For such a dish, it is better to take a beautiful smooth and large pepper. It must be washed and cleaned of seeds with a knife.
- Tomatoes are also recommended to take large. They need to be washed and shallow shallow cruciform incisions. We spread them in a deep bowl, pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes, so that it can then easily peel.
- At this time, chop the onion. 2 onions cut coarsely, and the remaining two - finely.
- Pour finely chopped onions into a heated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry until golden. Add some ground pepper.
- Three carrots on a coarse grater, and the other two on a fine grater.
- We leave coarsely grated carrots, and squeeze garlic into the finely grated carrots through a press. This mixture is sent to the pan to the onion. Mix everything and bring to readiness. Then pour this mixture into a bowl and set aside.
- Take the stuffing. You can optionally take chicken, pork, pork and beef, etc. Add rice, ready to fry, salt to taste and mix everything well until smooth. The filling is ready.
- Now let's start making the sauce. Coarsely chopped onions are sent to the pan and fry until golden brown.
- Peel the tomato and three on a fine grater or grind it in mashed potatoes using a blender. In this mass, add tomato paste, ketchup or sour cream, if desired. Salt, add sugar, black pepper, turmeric, a pinch of caraway seeds and broken bay leaf. Mix well and let it brew.
- At this time, pour the coarsely grated carrots to the onion into the pan, mix and cook until the carrots are ready. While the gravy is preparing, prepare the peppers. We lay the stuffing from the stuffing inside the pepper quite tightly with a spoon. Ready peppers are laid tightly in a saucepan. From the remaining mincemeat, you can make round meatballs and put them in a saucepan on peppers.
- When the carrots in the pan are ready, pour our tomato mixture there, put on a small or medium heat and let sit for about 5 minutes. Add the amount of boiling water in the pan so that it fits into the pan with peppers, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. After that, carefully pour the gravy into a pan of peppers. If the gravy is not enough to cover the peppers, then you need to take ordinary boiling water and add to the pan.
- We cover the pan with a lid and set it on fire. Stew for 25-30 minutes. To determine readiness, we try rice from minced meat. If it is ready, then you can turn off the fire. We put ready peppers on plates, decorate with greens as desired.
