Step cooking
- Before cooking stuffed pike, you need to clean it. They cut the pike with a kitchen knife and take out all the entrails. Wash the fish inside and out under running water. Be sure to clean the pike scales well - the skin should be clean, as it is used for cooking.
- Rinse the pike under running water and dry it well with a paper towel inside and out.
- Using kitchen scissors, cut off all the fins. The head and tail are cut off with a knife, as they are prepared separately.

- Pike meat is separated from the ridge and cut with a knife fillet. Cut the fillet into small pieces so that it is easier to grind in a meat grinder.
- Using kitchen scissors, gills are cut from the head of a pike. In the future, the head is also stuffed with minced meat.
- When they finished the pike, they begin to prepare the stuffing. For this, 120-150 g of bread is poured into 50 ml of milk to soften it. With the help of milk it is possible to achieve a more noble taste.
- Pre-boil 1 egg and rub it on a grater. 2 carrots are also rubbed, and 2 onions are cut into small cubes.
- 2 tablespoons are poured into a heated pan. l vegetable oil. You can also use 1 piece of fresh bacon, which grease the surface of the pan. Fry the onion along with the grated carrots until tender.
- In a meat grinder, pike fillet is ground together with sautéed onions and carrots. The bread, previously soaked in milk, is squeezed and also ground in a meat grinder. Do not worry about the small bones that remain in the pike fillet. All the same, they will all remain on the screw with a meat grinder or chopped. If you still doubt it, then the mince can be scrolled in a meat grinder twice.
- In the prepared minced pike add 1 raw egg, 1 tbsp. l salt, and pepper to taste. Also, boiled grated egg is added to the minced meat, due to which the shrimp taste will appear in the stuffed pike.
- Pour into minced meat 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil and thoroughly knead it with a tablespoon. If possible, it is better to beat the minced meat with a blender so that the mass becomes homogeneous.
- On the board, the skin of the pike is leveled and minced meat is applied on it, after wetting the hands in water.
- So that when baking, the stuffing does not fall out, the abdomen is fastened with toothpicks or sewn with a strong thread.
- The head is also well stuffed with minced meat.
- Take a baking sleeve, cutting it lengthwise, and lubricate it with vegetable oil so that the skin does not stick to the film.The stuffed pike is tightly wrapped, twisting the edges well or tying them with a thread.
- They grease the head and tail of the pike with vegetable oil and wrap it in a baking sleeve similar to the body.

- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the stuffed pike for 40-45 minutes.
- The prepared pike is taken out of the oven and allowed to cool completely. Carefully unfold the fish and pull out the toothpicks. Cut the stuffed pike into pieces of 1-2 cm.
