Ingredients
- premium wheat flour - 400 g
- chicken egg - 1 pc.
- sour cream - 180 g
- butter - 100 g
- table salt - 30 g
- baking soda - 5 g
- chicken fillet - 400 g
- potatoes - 300 g
- onions - 200 g
- ground black pepper - 10 g
Step cooking
Make dough
- In a deep bowl for kneading dough, spread 180 g of sour cream at room temperature. Pour 5 g of baking soda there and stir everything thoroughly.
- As soon as the soda is extinguished, add 10 g of salt, 100 g of pre-softened butter and break 1 chicken egg.
- Stir the ingredients thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
- Separately, sift through a fine sieve 400 g of premium wheat flour. Add the sifted flour to the sour cream and egg mixture and knead an obedient soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
- Put the dough in a bowl and cover it with a kitchen towel. Leave the dough to “rest” at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Prepare the filling
- Thoroughly wash the chicken fillet weighing about 400 g, then wipe it dry with paper towels. We cut the chicken product into fairly large pieces, the size of which is approximately 1.5x1.5 cm.
- Next, peel and rinse with running water 200 g of onions and 300 g of potatoes. We cut both ingredients into a very small cube and send them to a bowl of meat.
- Add 20 g of salt and 10 g of ground black pepper, and then stir the components of the filling well.
Let's cook elesh
- We roll the rest of the dough into a bundle, and then divide it into 12 parts, the weight of which is about 60 g. We roll each piece of dough into a neat ball.
- We take the ball and cut off 1/3 of it.
- After that, we roll both pieces with a rolling pin into round layers. As a result, you should get two thin layers, one of which has a diameter of about 8 cm, and the second - 4 cm.
- In the center of a large layer, lay out the prepared filling, which we cover in a small circle.
- Next, we carefully fasten the edges of both layers and weave a pigtail so that the product looks appetizing and attractive.
- We send the formed elesha to the baking sheet, which was pre-coated with baking paper for baking. In the same way we sculpt products from the remaining balls of dough.
- We send elesh to the oven heated to 200 ° С. Bake a treat for 45 minutes.
