Step cooking
- Take a deep container, pour 200 ml of warmed milk into it, and add 11-16 g of dry yeast and 1 tsp. Sahara.
- Stir, cover with a damp towel or foil and leave for 10-15 minutes in a warm place.
- Next, add there 1 cup of wheat flour previously sifted through a sieve, mix until smooth. Cover again and set aside for 1 hour.
- After the mass increases well in volume, add 1 tsp. salt and remaining flour. Depending on the quality of the flour, it may take a little more or less than indicated in the recipe. Add in small portions, controlling the density of the dough. It should not be very tight.
- When the dough is formed into a lump, make a small depression in it and pour in 2 tbsp. l olive oil. You can add it in 2-3 doses, so it will be easier to evenly distribute.
- Wash the dough well for 10-15 minutes. The dough should be soft, elastic, but not stick to your hands.
- Put the dough in a bowl sprinkled with flour or greased with vegetable oil, cover and place it in a warm place for another 1 hour.
- The dough should rise well again. Remove it from a bowl, mash it on a surface greased with vegetable oil, or on a small amount of flour. The dough is ready, you can form any wind products from it.
Cooking recommendations
- You can use pressed yeast, they will need about 20 g, otherwise the recipe will not change.
- Such a dough can be prepared on water, or using milk powder.
- If your kitchen is cool, you can leave the dough to fit in the oven. To do this, preheat it to 30-40 degrees and turn it off.
- Instead of olive, you can use any vegetable oil.
- The dough according to this recipe is suitable for pizza, oven pies or pies, sausages in the dough, bagels and any other salty pastries.
- After your products from this dough are formed, lay them on a baking sheet and let stand for another 20-30 minutes.
- Finished products can be greased with egg and milk. Top you can sprinkle with sesame seeds or seeds.
- Depending on the size, products from this test are baked for 20-40 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.
