wheat flour 150-160 g
milk 75 ml
garlic 2-3 cloves

Step cooking

  1. Peel about 1 kg of pumpkin from the skin and seeds, rinse under running water and pat dry with paper towels. By the way, the seeds can be washed and dried, it is not necessary to throw them away, they are very useful.
    We clean the pumpkin, remove the seeds.
  2. Grate the peeled pumpkin in a deep bowl on a medium grater.
    Rub the pumpkin on a grater.
  3. Add 3 chicken eggs to the grated pumpkin, then pour 75 ml of milk.
    Add eggs to the pumpkin mass, as well as milk.
  4. Peel 2-3 cloves of garlic and pass them through the garlic, add to the bowl to all the ingredients. Salt and pepper the pumpkin to taste with black ground pepper. Also, if desired, add a little dried dill or parsley, it can be replaced with a small amount of chopped fresh herbs.
    Next, add spices, salt, garlic.
  5. Mix pumpkin well with all the ingredients in a tablespoon.
    Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Sift about 150-160 g of wheat flour in a separate plate. Then gradually add flour to the bowl with pumpkin mass and mix well until smooth. Flour may be needed more or less depending on the juiciness of the pumpkin.

  7. Heat the pan on the stove and pour a small amount of vegetable oil into it, about 2-3 tbsp. l

  8. Then, with a tablespoon, lay out portions of pumpkin dough and fry potato pancakes on low heat until golden brown on both sides.

  9. To remove excess oil, you can dry the finished pancakes on a paper towel and immediately serve with sour cream or any other sauce of your choice.
    Serve the dish with sour cream.

To make pumpkin pancakes even juicier and more fragrant, in the process of preparation, you can add one onion. To do this, grind it through a meat grinder and mix with pumpkin. And if you want, you can mix half the grated pumpkin and half the grated potato, it will also be tasty and interesting.
