- Gradually, in small parts, add white flour to the bowl and mix thoroughly. After all the flour is ground, we get a mixture that resembles small crumbs.
- We take 80 ml of boiled or filtered water and dissolve in it a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
- We form a small hole in the mass, pour water with vinegar there. Knead the dough thoroughly with your hands. Formed mass is put in a plastic bag and placed in the refrigerator chamber for a period from 30 minutes to one hour. The dough should lie well.
Cookie making
- Sprinkle the surface of the kitchen table or a large cutting board with a thin layer of flour and proceed to rolling the mass.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin about 1 cm thick, sprinkle the surface with sugar.
- We fold the layer in half, again sprinkle with sugar and roll out. Repeat action 4 times. This is necessary so that layers sprinkled with sugar are formed from the mass.
- We roll out the dough for the last time to a thickness of 1 cm. We form rhombuses with the help of a pastry or ordinary knife - the future cookies. We spread the resulting rhombuses on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees and place a baking sheet with cookies for 25 minutes. During baking, we carefully control the process to prevent burning products.
- Cool cookies at room temperature, then cover with icing sugar.
