Step cooking
- Before you start cooking cauliflower, you should check it for the presence of insects, if any, get rid of them. To do this, pour a small amount of cold water into a deep bowl, add 2 teaspoons of salt, mix to dissolve the salt. Dip the cabbage in salt water and leave for 15 minutes. If you are confident in the quality of your cabbage, then this step can be skipped.
- After that, we sort the cabbage into inflorescences. We turn the forks of cabbage upside down and cut off all the inflorescences with a knife.
- We put the pan on the stove, pour the water and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Add salt to boiling water to taste and send the cabbage inflorescences, cook for 9 minutes. It is not necessary to cook cabbage for a long time, since it will become very soft and will fall apart, and besides, it will be cooked in the oven. When the cabbage is boiled, we take out all the inflorescences with a slotted spoon, so that the excess liquid in the glass.
- While the cabbage is cooling, grate 130 g of any hard cheese on a coarse grater. If your cabbage inflorescences are too large, cut them into several parts to get approximately the same small pieces.
- Next, prepare the egg-sour cream filling. To do this, in a deep bowl we combine 4 chicken eggs, salt, pepper to taste, add 1 tsp. dried garlic, stir well with a whisk. You can add any spices and seasonings to your taste. Add 120 g of sour cream of 15 - 20% fat to the eggs, mix well. Instead of sour cream, you can use fat cream.
- Lastly, add grated cheese to the filling. We leave a little cheese to sprinkle the casserole before sending it to the oven.
- Lightly grease any baking dish with odorless vegetable oil. The form should be with high sides. In the form we spread the cabbage, evenly distribute. Top pour the cabbage with the prepared filling.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. We send the form to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25 - 30 minutes. Depending on your oven, the baking time may increase or decrease, see that the filling is thickened well and the cheese crust is well browned on top
- Finely chop the green onion and sprinkle the prepared cauliflower casserole.
- We cut the finished dish into portioned pieces, arrange them on plates and serve.
