Step cooking
- Pour one and a half liters of water into the multicooker bowl, add one teaspoon of salt to the water. Select the "paste" mode. If you don’t have the “pasta” mode, you can choose the “dumplings” or “steam” mode. Close the lid of the multicooker. Set the time to five minutes. We need to boil the cauliflower until half cooked.
- While the water is boiling, we sort the cabbage into inflorescences, remove the head of cabbage, and the extra leaves so that the remaining inflorescences are 800 grams by weight. Very large inflorescences can be disassembled into smaller ones, we try to make them approximately the same in size.
- Two medium-sized onions are peeled, washed under running water, chopped finely on a cutting board, while we put them aside.
- The water in the slow cooker boiled. Open the lid of the multicooker, place in boiling water all the disassembled inflorescences. Press the inflorescences with a kitchen spatula so that they are as much as possible covered by water. Close the multicooker lid, turn on the “start” mode.
- Five minutes later, open the slow cooker, remove the ready-to-use cauliflower with a soft slotted spoon, and pour out the water in which the cabbage was boiled.
- In a clean bowl of the multicooker, pour one tablespoon of vegetable oil, turn on the “frying vegetables” mode, heat the multicooker. When the oil warms up, place finely chopped onions in the bowl.
- Four minutes later, when the onion becomes soft, add 50 grams of butter to the slow cooker. Fry the onion for a little while, so that it is saturated with the aroma of oil.
- After 5-6 minutes of frying the onions, add one teaspoon with a slide of salt, a third of a teaspoon of pepper mixture, which can be replaced with ordinary ground pepper, three teaspoons of wheat flour into the multicooker bowl. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Add 200 ml of milk here, bring the milk to a boil and immediately put one bay leaf in the bowl. All of these ingredients are constantly mixed so that nothing burns and lumps of flour form.
- Stir the sauce for about two minutes, until it thickens a little. Then put half of this mixture on a separate plate, and put cauliflower in the bowl of the multicooker. Squeeze the product a little with a kitchen spatula for density and pour the sauce from the plate on top of the cabbage.
- Grate 150 grams of hard cheese and distribute it over the surface of the cabbage in a slow cooker.
- Close the multicooker lid, select the “baking” mode and the time 30 minutes, press “start”.
- After 30 minutes, turn off the heat, open the slow cooker and put the casserole on the serving plates. This dish can be served with meat, sausages, any meat products that you like.
