- First, carefully rinse the plums and remove seeds from them. Then we transfer them to the pan, pour clean filtered water and put on fire. Next, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook another 15 minutes.
- While the plums are boiling, cut the half of the orange into thin slices.
- After 15 minutes, add cinnamon sticks, orange slices and 1 tbsp. To the pan with plums. l honey. A few slices of orange can be left for decoration. Mix. Let it boil for 1-2 minutes and turn off the stove. Then leave the drink for a while to insist a little.
- Pour the finished drink into cups, decorate with an orange slice and serve. Enjoy your meal.
Chutney Thick Plum Sauce
- Rinse the plums thoroughly and remove the seeds from them. Peel 1 small red onion.
- Next, heat the pan with a non-stick coating and put the prepared plums on it.
- Next, add 30 g of cane sugar and begin to fry. Oil does not need to be added, since the plum can drain the juice very quickly. We wait until the plum boils, and then reduce the heat and simmer the plum for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cut the peeled onion into small cubes.
- Peel a small piece of fresh ginger and rub on a fine grater. If necessary, you can use dried ginger.
- When the plum becomes soft, add chopped onion and finely grated ginger to it. Mix gently.
- Next, simmer the plum with onions and ginger for several minutes, and then add 50 ml of white wine. Mix and wait for the wine to evaporate a little.
- After the wine has evaporated slightly, pour 50 ml of orange juice into the pan.
- After a few minutes, add a small handful of raisins and lastly a pinch of thyme. Stir and let the sauce stew for a few more minutes, and then remove from heat.
- Ready sauce must be allowed to brew. Ideally, they leave him overnight. This sauce is served cold. It goes well with meat dishes, as well as soft cheese. Enjoy your meal.
