Ingredients
Product | amount |
Aronia chokeberry Aronia | 1100 g |
Granulated sugar | 1000 g |
Step cooking
- We sort the berries of Chokeberry and wash well under running water. Then we transfer the berries to the pan and pour boiling water.
- Blanch for 1 minute, then drain the boiling water.
- After that, we crush the berries with a mashed food processor. You can also grind using a blender or grind using a sieve.
- Add sugar to the resulting puree and mix well with a spoon.
- We cover the resulting mass with a lid and leave for three hours so that the sugar dissolves well. During this time, the puree becomes jelly-like.
- After that, we sterilize a liter jar and put the resulting mixture into it.
- We twist the threaded lid and put it in the refrigerator for storage. Since the mountain ash is not boiled, it must be stored in the refrigerator.
Having prepared aronia in this way, you will retain all its beneficial properties.
