A simple recipe for making black ice cream 🍦

Kitchen appliances and utensils:

  • a large bowl;
  • mixer (or hand blender);
  • whisk;
  • silicone (or wooden) spatula;
  • bowl (for eggs);
  • freezer;
  • waffle iron (for horns).

Ingredients

Cream 35% 400 ml
Egg 6 pcs
Granulated sugar 230 g
Vanilla sugar 10 g
Butter 50 g
Milk 3 tbsp. l
Wheat flour 55 g
Black food coloring 4 tbsp. l

Step cooking

  1. Fat cream (400 ml) is mixed with black food coloring. Make sure the dye is well distributed. The color of the cream should be uniform.
    We add black food coloring to fat cream.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat with a mixer 4 eggs and 130 grams of granulated sugar. In this case, add 10 grams of vanilla sugar to sugar. Beat the eggs until a thick white mass is obtained.
    Beat eggs with sugar separately.
  3. In a bowl, combine beaten eggs with sugar and black cream. It is better to pour eggs in small portions and each time it’s good to beat everything with a mixer. After adding the last portion of eggs, just mix them thoroughly with a rubber or wooden spatula.
    In several doses, we introduce the egg foam into black cream.
  4. Put the finished homogeneous mass in the freezer for 6-8 hours.
    We send the mass for black ice cream to the refrigerator.
  5. Beat 2 chicken eggs with 100 grams of granulated sugar. The mass should turn pale yellow.
    To prepare the dough, beat the eggs with sugar.
  6. Add to the mass of 3 tbsp. l milk and 50 g of butter. It is recommended to pre-soften the oil, even if it will thaw, because this will facilitate the whipping process.
    Add milk and butter to the egg mass.
  7. Next, add to the dough 55 grams of wheat flour and 2 tbsp. l black food coloring.
    Add flour and again black dye.
  8. Whisk well. The waffle dough is ready.
    Mix the black dough until smooth.
  9. Pour a little dough on the round flat surface of the waffle iron. We distribute the dough so that it lies in a thin layer, and close the waffle iron. We are waiting for 1.5 - 2 minutes.
    We bake a waffle.
  10. We take out a thin pancake and form a cone out of it, while the wafer is warm. After all, then, when it cools down, it will keep its shape. It will be a black cup for black ice cream.
    Twist the hot wafer with a cone.
  11. After 6-8 hours, we get the ice cream from the freezer. We form a spoon (it is better to do this with a special spoon for ice cream or with the help of two ordinary large spoons) a ball and put it in a waffle cup.
    In our cup, put our black ice cream.

That's all. A chic and incredibly delicious dessert is ready. Be sure that your household and friends will be delighted with such ice cream. And if you don’t have a waffle iron - no problem. You can make several balls and put them in beautiful bowls, decorate with colored sprinkles or berries (for example, raspberries in tandem with a leaf of mint will look just amazing).
