Step cooking
- Lentils in the amount of 200 g thoroughly washed, then transfer it to a small pan and pour 400 ml of bottled water. We send the pan to medium heat and wait until the liquid boils.
- Reduce the heat to a minimum, and then add a little salt.
- Boil the lentils until cooked for about 40-50 minutes.
- We peel one onion and three cloves of garlic from the husk, after which I thoroughly wash the products and cut into small cubes.
- We heat the pan and pour 20-30 ml of vegetable oil into it. On top of the hot oil, spread the chopped onions and garlic. Fry the ingredients literally one minute until a golden hue and transparency appear.
- Chicken fillet weighing about 200 grams of mine, and then trim the excess fat and other unnecessary parts. Cut the meat into small thin slices, and then mix them with salt, ground allspice and chicken seasoning. The choice of spices and their quantity directly depends on your taste preferences.
- Spread the prepared chicken on top of the fried onions and garlic. Stir the ingredients thoroughly, after which we fry the mass until the meat reaches full readiness.
- Throw the finished lentils into a colander to get rid of excess moisture. Add the lentils to the chicken and then mix.
- We increase the heat to medium and cook the dish for at least three minutes, periodically stirring the products so that they do not burn. Serve hot lentils with chicken. If desired, the dish can be decorated with parsley or dill.
