Step cooking
Product Preparation
- We wash 1.5 kg of meat under cold water. Dry it with paper towels or napkins.
- Peel and rinse 8 - 10 cloves of garlic. Cut each clove into 2 - 3 parts.
Cooking meat
- We stuff the meat with garlic. To do this, we make punctures in the meat with a sharp knife, in depth they must be such that the garlic is hidden inside and not visible. Punctures are preferably done in a checkerboard pattern and evenly on both sides.
- Spread the fibers and insert the garlic plate.
- Rub the meat on all sides with salt.
- Mix 1 tsp. turmeric and 2 tsp ground black pepper. Rub the meat with spices.
- Mix 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil with 3 tbsp. l mustard. Mix until a homogeneous consistency.
- Lubricate meat from all sides.
- Spread the meat in a well-heated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil, about 2 tbsp. l Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- We spread the meat on the foil with the fat layer up.
- Wrap in foil, carefully connect the seams so that the juice does not leak during the baking process. Cover with a layer of foil on top, close the seams. Put the meat wrapped in foil on a baking sheet. The baking sheet can also be covered with foil.
- We put the baking sheet in the oven, heated to 200 degrees. We reduce the temperature to 180 degrees. Bake for 1.5 hours.
- After the specified time we get the boiled pork from the oven. Expand the foil.
- We send again to the oven for 10 - 15 minutes, so that it is more reddened.
- Boiled pork turned out to be very juicy, very tasty, with an amazing aroma. It can be served both hot and cold, used instead of sausage on sandwiches.
Useful Tips
- To determine the approximate baking time, you can use the formula: 1 kg = 1 hour of baking.
- For baking, it is better to use fresh meat that has not been in the freezer, otherwise it may turn out to be rather dry.
- For the preparation of this pork dish, it is preferable to use the hip portion.
- Before cooking, the meat must be washed and dried.
- You can stuff the meat not only with garlic, but also with carrot slices. The more carrots there are, the more interesting the taste will be.
