- Dry yeast - 4 g
- Water - 50 ml
- Milk - 50 ml
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Sugar - 55 g
- Vegetable oil - 35 ml
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Vanilla Sugar - 8 g
- Butter - 35 g
- Apple - 2 pcs.
- Cinnamon to taste
Step cooking
- We take 50 milliliters of chilled milk, 50 milliliters of cool water and mix. The mixture of milk and water is heated to a warm state in any way convenient for you, pour 4 grams of dry yeast, mix thoroughly and leave for a couple of minutes.
- Sift 250 grams of first grade wheat flour into a separate plate through a kitchen sieve. This must be done so that the flour is saturated with oxygen and the dough is more airy.
- Pour yeast with milk into a deep bowl, add 0.5 teaspoon of salt, 35 grams of sugar and mix thoroughly with a whisk. Next, add 8 grams of vanilla sugar and mix the ingredients thoroughly again.
- Stir 1 chicken egg in a cup until smooth. Pour half the cup into the dough, and leave the other half. Mix the ingredients again. Gradually pour the sifted wheat flour into the mass with milk and knead the dough thoroughly.
- After pouring all the flour, pour 35 milliliters of vegetable oil into the dough and mix again. Knead the dough to smoothness first in a bowl, and then, having triturated the work surface with flour, go to it. Knead for 10 minutes.
- We collect the dough into a ball, round it and put in a bowl. We cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave it to rise for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- While the dough is infused, let's move on to the preparation of the filling. We take 3 small apples, thoroughly rinse them under water, clear of the middle and the stalk. Cut apples into small cubes. The skin does not need to be cut.
- Turn on the gas or electric stove, put the pan on it to warm up, put 35 grams of butter and chopped apples on it. Mix thoroughly and simmer over low heat for 7-8 minutes until the apples are soft. Turn off the fire.
- Gently knead the infused dough with your hands, take it out onto the work surface, crushed with wheat flour, and knead for another 3-4 minutes. We divide the finished dough into 8 equal parts. We will form a ball from each part and leave for another 10 minutes, covering with cling film.
- We take 1 ball, roll it out with a thickness of about 4 millimeters using a kitchen rolling pin.
- In the middle we lay out 2 teaspoons of apple filling, crush with sugar and cinnamon to taste.
- We fasten the edges, as in dumplings, then fold them in half and fasten the ends well.
- The remaining pieces of dough are formed according to the same principle.
- We spread the buns on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, and make 3 cuts with scissors on each side, forming leaves.
- Cover the rolls with foil and leave for another 35 minutes to rest.
- 5 minutes before baking, grease each bun with the second half of the diluted egg. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and set to bake rolls for 13 minutes. We get out of the oven and let cool. Enjoy your meal!
