- Sift 500 g of wheat flour into a large and deep bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of dried yeast, a pinch of salt (a quarter of a teaspoon), protein of one chicken egg. All ingredients must be mixed thoroughly.
- We heat 200 ml of milk in a water bath or in a microwave. It should be warm, not hot. This is for better exposure to yeast. Gradually, we begin to add 200 ml of warm milk to the dry components, at the same time kneading the dough with a spoon, and when it becomes thick - with your hands.
- When the mass becomes dense and thick, add two tablespoons of refined vegetable oil and continue kneading. The dough should be soft and elastic.
- After we place it in a deep container, cover it with cling film (or a towel) and leave it in a warm place. The dough should rise well and become airy.
Preparing the filling
- Pre cottage cheese needs to be chopped as much as possible. You can do this by passing it through a sieve or whipping it with a hand blender.
- Cottage cheese (250 g) is mixed with two tablespoons of granulated sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla sugar, we drive in one chicken egg.
- Mix the ingredients until a homogeneous consistency is formed. It is important that the sugar is completely dissolved, and the curd forms a cheese mass. Better component uniformity can be achieved using a blender or mixer.
Product Formation
- We take out the dough and squeeze it with our hands until an elastic and elastic mass is formed.
- We divide it into 12 identical parts and roll them into a ball. To prevent part of the dough from drying, cover half with a towel.
- Knead each ball with your hands, forming an even circle.
- On the perimeter we make three identical cuts so that we get three petals.
- Put about one teaspoon of the resulting filling on the center and fix each petal in turn over it. The edges need to be plucked tightly so that they do not separate during baking. It should be a product in the form of a rose.
Baking preparation
- We set the oven to heat up 180 degrees. Cover the baking tray with parchment paper and spread the formed buns on it.
- In a small bowl, beat the yolk of a chicken egg and half a teaspoon of vegetable oil. Grease buns with a pastry brush.
- Place the baking tray with buns in the oven for 40 minutes. It is necessary to control the baking process and independently check the level of readiness of the dish. Put the slightly cooled pastries in a wide bowl, you can decorate them by sprinkling with powdered sugar or poppy seeds.
