Step cooking
- Prepare the dough for the dough. In a stewpan on a stove, lightly heat 180 ml of milk and pour it into a deep plate. Then add 2 tsp to milk. sugar, mix well and pour 7 g of dry yeast, stir and leave for 5-10 minutes to activate the yeast.
- Sieve 400 g of wheat flour in a deep bowl with a sieve, add about 1/3 tsp to it. salt and pour 70 g of sugar, mix well all the ingredients. Melt 80 g of butter in a saucepan and cool at room temperature.
- In a separate bowl, beat one chicken egg and stir it with a fork until smooth. Add 1 tsp to the egg. vanilla extract. Then, in a bowl with flour, make a small depression and pour the matching dough there, then add the egg with vanilla extract. Knead the dough in a circular motion with your hand. When it is already slightly thickened, add 50 g of melted butter to the bowl and continue kneading the dough until a smooth lump is formed.
- Then put the dough on the work surface and knead it well with your hands for 7-10 minutes so that it does not stick to the table and hands. If necessary, you can add a little flour, but do not rush to beat the dough with it, so that the pastries turn out to be magnificent and soft. The dough is smooth and elastic. Then grease the bowl with butter or vegetable oil and transfer the dough into it, cover the bowl with cling film and place the dough in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, the dough increased in volume by 2-3 times. Brush the bun molds with melted butter using a silicone brush. Sprinkle the work surface with sifted flour and put the dough on it. Sprinkle dough with a small amount of sifted flour on top. Then roll the dough with a rolling pin into a layer with a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Using a special shape or a large glass, cut circles out of the dough. Gather the rest of the dough, make a lump, roll it into a layer and also cut circles. Take 3 of these circles, grease with butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar.
- Then overlap each piece of dough and wrap it in a roll, then cut in half. Thus, flowers from the dough will turn out. If they fall apart, gently pinch the edges. Put the resulting flowers in a mold at a small distance from each other. In one form, these 3 flowers can fit so that there is still a bit of space, because the buns will be suitable. You can use immediately 5 circles of dough, then the resulting 1 flower will take the entire shape. Shape the buns according to your shapes. Use the rest of the dough in the same way. Cover the buns with a dishcloth and let them go for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ºС. Pour 2 tbsp in the bowl. l warm milk, add to it 1 tbsp. l sugar and stir well. Then grease the buns with the milk mixture and send to the preheated oven to bake on the wire rack for about 15-20 minutes, orient yourself in your oven.Finish all the buns, let them cool, and then remove from the molds. You can sprinkle cooled buns with powdered sugar and serve with tea.
