Step cooking
- We warm the milk. It should be warm, but not hot. Add one teaspoon of sugar to the milk and pour in the yeast.
- Mix everything well. Leave the yeast for 15 minutes to activate. When the froth cap appears, the yeast is ready.
- Knead the egg with salt and sugar in a separate deep bowl. Add vanilla sugar, mix well.
- We pour in the same yeast with milk and begin to mix well with a whisk.
- Add the flour there in parts. Do not forget to sift it first.
- We begin to knead the dough with a whisk. Then add the butter.
- Knead the dough in a bowl with your hands for several minutes until the butter is completely dissolved, then go to the work surface. To do this, sprinkle flour on a table or other surface, lay out the dough and begin to knead it. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes. When the dough is well behind the hands and the surface, it will be ready.
- We round the dough and put in a bowl, lightly sprinkled with flour. Cover the bowl with a film or towel, and leave the dough in a warm place for 1.5 hours.
- After a while, slightly crush the dough.
- Put it on the table. Divide the dough into equal parts, forming balls - these will be future buns. From this amount of dough, you get about 15 balls.
- Put the balls on the work surface and cover with a film or bag to let them come up. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
- Knead each ball with your hands, add one teaspoon of jam in the middle and close the buns.
- In order to close the bun well, raise the dough up, like a khinkali. Then we turn the bun into a seam and roll it well into a ball.
- We form all the buns and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Between the buns we leave a distance of 3-5 centimeters so that they have where to go up.
- Cover again with a film or bag and leave for 30 minutes.
- After a while, the buns will do. Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes. When the buns are browned, after 5 minutes they can be removed from the oven.
- In order to prepare sugar syrup for decorating buns, add 1 tablespoon of boiling water and 1.5 tablespoons of powdered sugar to a bowl. Stir well.
- We take the buns out of the oven, and while they are hot, grease them with sugar syrup.
- Done! When the buns have cooled, they can be served to the table. Enjoy your meal!
