Ingredients
jam | 150 g |
premium flour | 550 g |
milk | 300 ml |
live yeast | 25 g |
sugar | 100 g |
vanilla sugar | 10 g |
salt | 8 g |
egg | 1 PC. |
butter | 100 g |
sunflower oil | 20 ml |
Step cooking
- For starters, 300 ml of milk is slightly warmed over low heat. Then we pour about 100 ml of the total amount and add 25 g of live yeast to them.
- We take 100 g of butter and heat it in a water bath or in the microwave. We get out and let it cool slightly. Now add to the mixture of milk and yeast 1 tbsp. l Sahara. Mix everything well and leave for 10 minutes so that the yeast has time to activate in warm milk.
- Next, take 1 egg and break it into a deep bowl, where the dough will be kneaded. There we add 10 g of vanilla sugar and the remaining 70 g of regular sugar. Mix everything with a whisk.
- Now add to the mixture 200 ml of warm milk and 100 g of melted butter. Again, mix everything with a whisk and add to the mixture yeast that has already managed to come up. Then we take 550 g of flour and sift it through a sieve. After that, add it in parts to the rest of the ingredients. Each time, the flour must be mixed to avoid the formation of lumps. When it becomes difficult for you to knead the dough with a spoon, proceed to manual kneading.
- Now we take a deep plate, grease it with 20 ml of vegetable oil and shift the resulting dough there. We cover the plate with cling film and remove in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- When the dough increases in volume by 2 times, it is necessary to lay it on the board and divide it into 2 equal parts. The surface of the board must first be sprinkled with flour a little.
- From each part of the dough you need to form round buns weighing about 80 g. In total, you should get 15 of these balls. They need to be covered with cling film so that they do not wind off during rolling.
- We roll each ball using a rolling pin and cut it into a four-leafed shape. In the center of such a flower, put a teaspoon of any jam and close each of the petals. As a result, you should get 15 roses with a filling in the middle.
- We spread all the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Take 1 egg, break it and mix with a fork. Then grease the surface of the dough with it. Next, put the oiled roses in the oven and bake them for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
- Ready buns can be sprinkled with powdered sugar a little, let them cool and eat with tea or coffee.
As a filling, you can use not only any jam, but also cottage cheese or boiled condensed milk. The main thing is that the consistency of the selected filling is not liquid.
